white duck achieves its third Microsoft Partner Advanced Specialization: AI Apps on Microsoft Azure

We are pleased to have reached another milestone in our partnership with Microsoft: at the end of 2025, we obtained the Microsoft Partner Advanced Specialization “AI Apps on Microsoft Azure” – our third Advanced Specialization! This further expands our position as a highly specialized engineering and consulting firm for cloud-native development, platform engineering, and developer productivity – and provides our customers with an additional, independent quality feature for production-ready AI solutions.

Our Microsoft Partner Designations & Advanced Specializations

Our expertise is visible at Microsoft on several levels – through Solution Partner Designations and through Advanced Specializations, each covering a narrow, practical specialty and additionally and externally audited.

Our Current Microsoft Designations

  • Digital & App Innovation – Focus: Modernizing existing applications and building cloud-native apps.
  • Data & AI – Focus: Managing and controlling data across multiple systems to create analytics and AI solutions.

The Data & AI Designation was a crucial step for us to consistently expand our portfolio towards the conception and development of AI-powered applications. From initial use cases and enablement to scalable solutions in productive operation.

Our Three Advanced Specializations

With the third Advanced Specialization, we were now able to validate and certify our expertise in Agentic AI. For us as a Microsoft Partner, the “AI Apps on Microsoft Azure” Advanced Specialization means that we are audited and capable of planning, developing, and productively operating AI-enabled applications on Azure according to Microsoft Best Practices. And this securely and scalably.

This combination reflects our end-to-end approach: We design, develop, and operate future-proof cloud-native applications and platforms on Azure for our customers across all industries.

What Does the “AI Apps on Microsoft Azure” Advanced Specialization Mean for You?

For you, our customer, the “AI Apps on Microsoft Azure” Advanced Specialization is primarily a reliable quality feature. It demonstrates that our capabilities are not just based on training or concepts, but are proven by Microsoft requirements, an independent technical audit, and real project references. This reduces your risk when selecting service providers and partners – especially in an area where architectural flaws, security gaps, or a lack of operational capability can quickly hinder AI initiatives.

What does this mean for you in concrete terms?

  • Reduced risk: audited architecture, security, and delivery standards instead of “best effort”
  • Production-ready AI instead of prototypes: robust integration into applications and processes, not just demo use cases
  • Enterprise-readiness from the start: scalability, governance, and Responsible AI are considered from the outset
  • Faster time-to-value: proven patterns for architecture, integration, and operation shorten implementation time
  • Better operation & lifecycle: monitoring/observability, deployment strategies, and cost control for sustainable solutions

Additionally, the specialization strengthens our close connection to Microsoft’s AI programs and best practices. For you, this primarily means better access to reference architectures, proven methodologies, and technical implementation depth – especially when it comes to secure, compliance-compliant deployments and stable operation.

In short: Not “AI as a demo,” but AI as a reliable part of your digital products and processes.

Our Offerings for You

Agentic AI Assessment

In this assessment, we support you in the design, setup, or review of AI-based applications and agents – from architecture to secure operationalization. The focus is on modern agent architectures, orchestration of single and multi-agent systems, and the selection of suitable frameworks and patterns. We also consider emerging standards such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) and use Azure AI Foundry as the technological basis for efficient and secure implementation. The results are a clear target design (including security, governance, and Responsible AI guardrails), prioritized use cases, and a concrete implementation plan from PoC to productive operation.

Agentic DevOps Assessment

The Agentic DevOps Assessment aims to help development teams and platform organizations effectively use AI in their daily work – with GitHub Enterprise as the foundation and GitHub Copilot (including agent functions) as an accelerator. We analyze your DevOps organization, toolchain, and delivery processes and identify where AI/agents can already provide meaningful relief. At the same time, we consider the prerequisites for sustainable speed: spec-driven development, good requirements engineering, effective review processes, DevSecOps gates, and a suitable cloud-native platform on Azure. The result is a prioritized optimization roadmap with quick wins, an enablement plan (guidelines/training), and concrete implementation steps.
