All from One Source: Azure, Development, Operations

Many companies obtain their Azure subscriptions from one partner, have a second develop their solutions, and commission a third for operations. This can work—but requires coordination. Who is responsible when a problem affects both code and infrastructure? Who maintains oversight of the entire system?

For CTOs and IT managers in mid-sized companies, as well as managing directors of software companies, the question arises: Is there a simpler way? The answer: Yes.

Three Pillars, One Partner

At white duck, we cover all three areas—from Azure subscription to ongoing operations.

Provisioning of Azure Subscriptions

This sounds like a pure licensing matter—but it isn’t. Whoever provisions your Azure subscription knows your cost structure, your resource usage, and your architecture. At white duck, this is not an accounting task, but an active part of project support. Azure costs are considered from the start, not just when the invoice comes as a surprise.

As a Microsoft partner in the Cloud Solution Provider Program (CSP), we provide you with Azure subscriptions. The difference from a pure license reseller: With us, you don’t just get an invoice, but a partner who understands your architecture. Questions about Azure services are answered by someone who develops with them daily.

We work as an Indirect Reseller in the CSP program, including with ADN as a Direct CSP distributor. This means for you: professional handling with personal support throughout the entire lifecycle of your Azure-based solution.

Engineering & Consulting

This is our core competency. With over 150 cloud projects per year and a team of certified Azure Solution Architects and Engineers, we develop your solutions:

  • Cloud Native Development: From AI agents to line-of-business applications
  • Platform Engineering: Internal Developer Platforms, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code
  • Developer Productivity: GitHub-based workflows, Agentic DevOps, modern development environments
  • Modernization: Making existing systems cloud-ready

The crucial difference: We know not only Azure, but the entire software lifecycle. From the first Solution Assessment to the production-ready application.

Operations & Maintenance

“We built it, we run it”—this principle makes the difference. The same engineers who developed your solution also support operations. This means: When a problem occurs, we don’t have to research how your application works first. We know the architecture, the decisions behind it, and the typical pitfalls.

Our Operations as a Service includes proactive maintenance, security updates, and support from experienced experts—all from one source. Monthly, we update components and dependencies, analyze performance and costs, and keep your solution up to date. When problems arise, we respond quickly and with the necessary in-depth knowledge.

Our offering is deliberately designed for stable production environments. Not every application needs 24/7 support—but every application deserves professional maintenance and quick help when it matters. For applications with higher requirements, we offer extended options such as CVE monitoring and annual architecture reviews.

Why This Works

When the team that developed your application also handles support, the extensive knowledge transfer is eliminated. When a problem occurs, our engineers already know the architecture and the decisions behind it. Instead of three contracts with three providers, you have one point of contact, one escalation chain, one responsibility. The transition from development to operations is an internal process for us—no knowledge is lost, no information falls through the cracks.

“Previously, we had three different partners for Azure provisioning, development, and operations. When something didn’t work, someone else was always to blame. Since we consolidated everything with white duck, there are no more excuses—and no more problems that get passed back and forth between service providers for days.”

Getting Started: Our Solution Assessment

You don’t have to change everything at once. A Solution Assessment is the ideal first step: In a compact workshop, our Azure architects analyze your current situation and develop a prioritized roadmap with you.

From there, you decide which components you want to use—cloud provisioning, engineering support, Operations as a Service, or the combination that fits your needs.
