Cilium and Azure Kubernetes Service

Microsoft unveiled a preview of the Azure CNI, powered by Cilium, for Azure Kubernetes Services last year. This new option merges Cilium’s advanced networking, security, and scalability & performance capabilities with the robust Azure IPAM capabilities of the existing Azure CNI, resulting in a top-of-the-line container networking platform for Azure Kubernetes Service. The native offering simplifies the use of Cilium’s open-source features directly on Azure Kubernetes Service, and Microsoft will provide first-line support.
